The Ticker Wall filter will allow you to sort posts by post type. You can see news updates from Robot, media updates from members, new forum topics, and a bunch more. The filter is located to the right of the ticker wall, at the top.
Add Content to Ticker Walls
You can add content to global Ticker Walls anywhere on the site. To add content simply put the “$” sign followed by the ticker symbol. This is a powerful post type as it can connect posts from members to groups to message boards etc. Add “$” to any post anywhere. You can also use “#” followed by text to connect other ideas
View Most Posted Companies
Ticker Walls feed the OTC Trends data site-wide. OTC Trends is a collection of features built into the platform that uses post data to feed the “WATCH” algorithm. To view the most posted companies click here.OTC Trends and the “WATCH” algorithm are still in beta
Post or View Media in Ticker Walls
You can add media content to global Ticker Walls anywhere on the site. To do this create a media post and add the “$” sign followed by the ticker symbol. This is a useful feature when uploading media to discussion board topics. To view media updates only, select the “media updates” filter on any ticker wall.
Ticker Walls Built into Each Forum
A Ticker Wall for each company is available in all stock message boards. This provides a quick way to get ideas before posting new topics. In any company forum click the “Wall” tab
Ticker Walls Built into Each Profile
Ticker Walls are built into each member profile. You can access them by visiting any member profile and searching their search form with a stock symbol. This will allow you to see what ideas they have, and help you connect more efficiently. The idea is to follow folks that have similar investing styles, which makes for friendly conversation.You do not have to be friends to search public posts
Ticker Walls Built into Each Group
Group Ticker Walls are active in all public groups. You can find specific companies by searching for them in the group’s search form. This is helpful when trying to determine how a certain group of people are feeling about a company. You must join a group to post to their wall
