OTC Watch
Getting Predictions
You can predict the outcome of any stock using our “Watch Algorithm”.
To view predictions, click the New Prediction button at the top of any page and enter the desired ticker symbol into the search field.
Predictions Format
Our algorithm predicts prices for the following time intervals: 7 Days, 3 Months, 6 Months and 1 Year.
-> Please note for prediction time intervals we go by Calendar Days.
Clarification On Predictions
When predicting each price within each time interval, we are referring to the stock price hitting the predicted value at anytime during the projected time interval.
Example:
ACBD is currently trading at $0.09. (Today’s Date)
We think ABCD could be going up to $0.10 by x/x/xxxx (7 Days)
For our prediction to be correct ABCD would have to go up to -or- surpass $0.10 within the time interval.
For this instance to be correct we would look at the Daily High during the 7 day time interval to determine if our prediction was correct.
Conversely, if the prediction was for the price to go down we would look at the Daily Low to determine if our prediction was correct.
If the price was predicted to stay the same (happens with OTC stocks trading at the sub penny level) we would use any of the values (Daily Open, Daily High, Daily Low or Daily Close) to determine if the prediction was correct.
To simply things, each price prediction will be: Going Up, Going Down, or Staying At The Current Price.
Stock prices are a continuum so as long as our predictions meet -or- cross the price threshold, we consider them to be correct.
Considerations
Please note our algorithm is in it’s beta phase and all data is experimental.
These predictions are strictly for entertainment purposes only.
